Red Maple Media was contracted by El Pacifico Hotel, Nicaragua, to create and host a new accommodation booking website, with the business goals of raising brand awareness and increasing hotel occupancy rates.
The website was built to include backend administration integrations with (1) a drag-and-drop email newsletter manager, and (2) a social media dashboard with integrations to Facebook and Twitter. This allows hotel staff to easily and quickly update the the hotel’s social and email networks from a single point of reference. The website is also hosted in our Virtual Private Cloud, and testing has confirmed it loads quickly around the world – something that is important as website visitors are also from many different countries.
A number of visitor tracking features have also been added to the website, that allow the analysis of website end-user behaviour. The user data is used to derive actionable insights so we can continue to optimize the end-user’s website experience, and improve the site’s conversion ratio of visitors-to-bookings. Since the website has been launched, it has already contributed to an increase in social media activity which in turn is expected to lead to an increase in online room bookings.
